4/10/2012 – Congratulations to Becker Bible Studies author and teacher Kathy L. McFarland! She has just received notification that she has been chosen to present her paper, “The Theological Implications of Rob Bell’s Christian/Hopeful Universalism Compared to the Historical Theological Consequences of Swedenborg’s Traditional Universalism” to the Theological and Religious Reflection program in their American Academy of Religion annual meeting at Chicago. We can hardly wait to hear and learn about this tremendously serious development in religious direction today. Way to go Kathy!
5/6/2011 – Kathy L. McFarland’s letter to the editor stating the absolute need for Christ and the only way to salvation appears in the USA TODAY newspaper, 5/26/2011. Her witness to Christ brings stark contrast to the prevailing carnal view, and is worthy of celebration that God’s Word was represented well. Take a look at her letter, “Salvation Only Through Jesus,” standing tall in the midst of carnal takes of Heaven for everybody (All letters to the editor concerning this subject are placed together on one page: Kathy’s is the second letter).

its odd how in america this nation claims achriatian heritage yet if we were to turn the clock back americans spescially would or could not survive the mission Jesus gave his diciples. yet we like israel reject God in every way just to get out of not acknowledging Him at any time of the ,other than to use his name as a swear word. When lucifer was kicked out heaven for his arrogant pride thats when apostasy began and its sowballed quickly here in america christianity has taken every form from the obscene translations that lucifer writes to the selling of goods,trinkets.etc. just to say Gods work is being done all you have to do is look on television. we as nation or i should say that we who are true believer in Christ need to step out on faith, and rebuke those who tell us we should we shouln’t question ones faith or apreacher who is doing wrong or not use constructive criticism bottom line discernment is not be taught which is why we have all these spiritual leaders or pulpit pimps making a ton of money and blinding the people in their congregations these preacher who healed would not be apound or as Christ said they have thier reward. discernment sholud be taught in churches indivdual believers need to trus the true word of God rather than that of the preacher, with individulal study one becomes emerded in Gods word rather than what the preacher says, by that one can here God voice and heartbeat rather than the beating of the drum or bleeting of the sheep. suggestion for all those who are studying to be preachers or lay-preacher or deacon elder go out the wilderness by yourself and study Gods word even if it means leaving your church for some time i did and it was worth itbecause God will open your eyes and your heart so that you will have ears to hear and eyes to see, having wisdom or gaining wisdom to be able to handle adversity in the days to come. don’t always think that because someone that these things are part of Gods plan that its so. God had his plann written on the tablet of his heart long before we came along as apeople or nation. as a jew and believer in Jesus Christ i would rather make evey effort to stick to Gods plan than what the world has to offer and yes it is difficult but never forsake the things of God as israel had done. shalom
